Available Positions:
Retail Running Specialist :
1.Hourly Wage based on experience.
2.Qualified candidates will be energetic runners, triathletes,
swimmers, or fitness enthusiasts. Retail experience is a plus but not
required.
3. Basic computer skills
4. Communication Skills
5. Ability to think for yourself in a very busy environment and deliver
great customer service 100% of the time.
6. We currently need help on Saturday, Sunday, and the occasional
weekday.
7. Store hours are Monday - Friday 10AM - 7PM, Saturday 10AM -6PM,
Sunday 11AM - 5PM
8. You would be expected to work 40-50 hours per month.
Job description:
1. Provide excellent customer service regarding all aspects of Footwear
and Apparel Technology
2. Provide in depth footwear selection based on gait and bio-mechanical
analysis
3. Provide Footwear and Apparel Clinics
4. Represent Fleet Feet Laguna Niguel at Races and Expos as requested
5. Become proficient in the CAM operating system (accounting and
inventory control software)
6. Meet all required Sales Goals
7. Open and Close the store as requested. Adhere to opening and closing
procedures
8. Keep up to date with running, triathlon, and general fitness, trends,
footwear, and apparel.
Compensation:
1. $9.00 per hour to start,
2. Store discount (45%) after 20 hours of employment.
a. Discount Program: 45% store discount on first $500 of purchases each
6 months, 10% thereafter.
b. 10% discount for immediate family only.
c. Employee purchase Plan with all approved vendors. Usually about 10%
to %20 off of wholesale
3. Compensation increases will be based on time in service, excellent
customer service, and sales performance.
4. Comp entries to Races selected by the store.
All new hires will first become proficient with the computer system
(Point of sale, inventory control) and apparel selling. After you have a
good grasp of how to ring up a sale and talk about apparel (shorts,
tops, bras, and tights, wicking properties, moisture management, and
micro-fiber technology) you move into phase two, footwear.
Footwear recommendations are based on a number of factors. FFLN will
provide you with the proper training in footwear technology (running
shoes, socks, foot beds and orthodics) , basic biomechanics of the foot
and leg, injury prevention and management.
